My 1200-word review of The ESV Study Bible is now available online. (It recently appeared in the Journal of the Evangelical Theological Society 52 [2009]: 357–59.)

    Thanks, Andy. I hadn't noticed some of the controversial passages, yet. I was (pleasantly in most cases) surprised by many of them!

    I very much like my ESVSB… a job well done all around. I also love the fact that it's completely online… I access that feature multiple times every day.

    …However, in the past two weeks, I have noticed 2 small typos. Both in the notes, not the text. :) I should have written them down, though, b/c I can't remember where they were.

    Also, the little ribbon bookmark started to fray almost immediately. I held it near a candle flame – just enough to melt the end a tiny bit and prevent any more fraying.
