In 1981 United Airlines sponsored a promo exactly like this for Florida residents. Darlene and I were living in St. Petersburg at the time and I had a month's worth of vacation days banked. So we snapped it up and went everywhere we ever wanted to go in the continental US. One of our stops was Los Angeles. That was the first time we visited Grace Community Church. The rest is history.
