Brooks has been labeled as a RINO who made cozy with the liberal MSM. Now, he pontificates about how far Obama's approval ratings have fallen in 7 months so he can be the darling of the right again. Silliness.<br /><br />From a more balanced and scientific approach, Obama's slide in the polls means exactly nothing. The fact is, he came into office with an approval rating that was 15 points higher than his share of the popular vote last November. He had nowhere to go but down, unless a major catastrophe befell the nation that prompted a 'rally around the flag effect' such as GWB enjoyed in 2001 that lasted into 2003. <br /><br />The bottom line is this: Obama's numbers are settling in at where they ought to be.
