Eric Metaxas in Wheaton
For readers in Chicagoland: Eric Metaxas will be speaking on Dietrich Bonhoeffer at the Annual Fall Benefit, which will support Clapham School (a classical Christian school), along with the charities Renew and World Relief (to assist them in helping refugees).
Metaxas, who wrote Amazing Grace (the award-winning biography of Wilberforce), has written a major biography of Bonhoeffer, which will be published by Thomas Nelson in March 2010. This will be the first major, definitive biography on Bonhoeffer to appear in over 40 years.
The deadline for registration is Oct. 2, 2009 and the cost is $30 per person.
