wow… great content! appreciate your work in sharing all this with us, Justin.
If there is one thing I really appreciate about C.J. Mahaney is how he opens up his preaching by slowly, deliberately and with reverence reading the text of Scripture before launching into his preaching. Mahaney gives you the gravity of the Bible and the distinct impression that it is, in fact, God who is speaking you the person in the pew. It’s this model that I would like to see implemented in most pulpits. Love it, love it, love it!
It’s what J.I. Packer once said: “Letting the text talk.”
