I first read MLJ Spiritual depression over 25 years ago. It helped me greatly understand the spiritual dimensions that the illness involved. It also was good psychology. The quote on the blog was particularly helpful in this regard. I have not yet come across a book as useful as this. I think every pastor and elder should read it. It will help them remain a psychological and spiritual even keel in their own ministry and greatly enhance their pastoral skills for helping others. Really glad you have mentioned it.
