Evangel: New Blog at First Things

Joe Carter has started a new blog at First Things. It’s called Evangel. It’s a group blog with a great group of folks.

I encourage you to check it out.

The first number of posts are about what it means to be an evangelical.

My first post summarizes a classic lecture by John Stott on the essentials of evangelicalism, where he looks at:

1. The claim of evangelicalism
2. The distinctives of evangelicalism
3. The concern of evangelicalism
4. The essence of evangelicalism
