10MillionWords
Tim Challies has a fantastic new blog that I’d encourage you to check out:
His current blog, Challies.com, will remain largely the same, but this new blog, 10MillionWords, will be hosted at The Gospel Coalition and will be a year-long project of Tim reviewing each non-fiction book that appears on the NYT bestseller list. Tim figures that it will amount to reading three books a week, or 10 million words total.
Many thanks to Tim for the countless hours invested in helping us to understand our culture better through the books that are the most popular.

Hey, this isn’t April 1st. Who would put themselves through this kind torture? Do you see what’s on that list week to week? How many diet books can you read in January and February before you turn violent?
It must be the Canadian water…
Why do I like the sound of Abraham Piper’s “22 Words” so much better? ;)
I wonder how many gallons of coffee it takes to get through 10 million words! Prayer will be needed for Tim’s digestion, physical, mental, and spiritual!
As I said (not really I, but God) on his site: Much study wearies the body. I’m sure I won’t even be able to read all of what Tim writes about these bestsellers each week.

Didn’t someone say that Challies would eventually join the uber-cool TGC family sometime ago? ;) Really excited to see what is coming up
This is fantastic. I love that he’s doing this.
