Disney’s A Christmas Carol

scarreyscroogeI found this review helpful. Upshot: it will scare the socks off of young kids; it is perhaps the most faithful adaption yet of Dickens’ original story; but the animation ultimately seeks to dull the message and Scrooge’s conversion seems less than believable.

    Thanks…preaching through James…your “Upshot” gives an awesome illustration of what genuine faith shouldn’t look like…giving the appearance of faithful adaptation but being distracted by “worldly wisdom”, dulling the message, making conversion seem less than believable. workin through it…not sure if I have it all worked out…and I know every illustration has it’s limitations…but thanks for your help!
