Fred Sanders offers some wise advice:
- Read widely, and read for craft.
- For theologians: Reading for craft means you’re going to have to read more than just theology.
- Get interested.
- Get critiques if you can.
- Catch yourself doing something good, and try to keep doing it.
- Revise.
- Write a lot.
- Don’t think very hard about the audience.
- Try to be helpful.
- Make top ten lists.
