John Piper explains four waves of change he is praying for:

  1. Putting world evangelization into the passions of a new generation.
  2. Weaving the dark thread of hell back into the fabric of our compassion.
  3. Blowing away misperceptions about what is needed in missions.
  4. Persuading pastors that a passion for the global glory of God is good for the saints at home.

Read an explanation of each here.

  1. Brent Hobbs says:

Love this list! I believe his prayers are being answered in a preliminary sense. Along with him, I pray for much more.

  2. Paul C says:

Working out the details of going into the mission field myself. One question I have about stats that are provided by the Joshua Project is that it seems to insinuate countries that are Catholicized (Latin America, Italy, etc) have the gospel. This assumption terribly skews the numbers, I would think.

  3. Jacob Lee says:

May the Lord use this conference to spur on His people in all “four waves”!
