The Joy and Gravity of Adoption

Your past does not define you. Nothing you can buy will ever give you satisfaction. Lots of wisdom here:

HT: Challies and Z

  1. Exceedingly marvelous. This family reminds me of the Piety family in Tennessee. It is a privilege to know them. Thank you, JT.

  3. When the son playing the piano was talking about his first year of life, the verse that came to mind was Genesis 50:20:

“As for you, you meant evil against me, but God meant it for good, to bring it about that many people should be kept alive, as they are today.”

It’s so sad to think that any child would be considered “cursed,” disposable, undesirable, or unloved. God foreknew each and every one of us, and we are made in His image, fearfully and wonderfully.

Thanks for sharing this beautiful family’s story. I enjoyed watching it!

  4. Fabulous and uplifting.

This is an example of making life count for something eternal.

  9. This is near and dear to the Father’s heart. Old Covenant and New Covenant affirm both the theological value and the practical value as well.
    Lord bless this family.
