My son, beware of anything beyond these. Of making many books there is no end, and much study is a weariness of the flesh.

I know that all these list are suggestions and such, but it is just hard enough to read the Word and live out life, which is where the rubber meets the road. I am all for great resources, 5 of these books I would love to devour, but there is no substitute for walking out the gospel. There is the good and then there is what is best.
I am not saying that the two are mutually exclusive, just some thoughts about all these many book recommendations these last few days.
