Q14: Did God create us unable to keep his law?

No, but because of the disobedience of our first parents, Adam and Eve, all of creation is fallen; we are all born in sin and guilt, corrupt in our nature and unable to keep God’s law.

  1. I think being born guilty is questionable. We are not actually guilty until we sin personally. Ezekiel Chapter 18 says,“The soul who sins is the one who will die. The son will not share the guilt of the father, nor will the father share the guilt of the son.”

And Paul also says in Romans, “Therefore, just as sin came into the world through one man, and death through sin, and so death spread to all men because all sinned—” We are guilty the moment we actually sin. Which is inevitable because we have a fallen nature with a tendency to sin.
