Marvin Olasky at SBTS

Marvin Olasky is on the campus of The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary today and tomorrow to deliver this fall’s Norton Lectures. Here are the titles to his three messages:

  • Tuesday, Sept. 29
 @ 1:00 p.m. Lecture 1, “Prodigal Sons: Deeper into the Parable and the Need to Become Third Brothers”
  • Tuesday, Sept. 29 @ 2:30 p.m. Lecture 2, “Prodigal Doctrines: Going beyond ‘Social Justice’ to Righteous Justice”
  • Wednesday, Sept. 30 @ 10:00 a.m. Lecture 3, “Prodigal Occurrences: Moving from Medieval Understandings to Reformation”

We’ll be sure to link to audio or video once available. In the meantime, you can watch Olasky’s recent address (“The Secular Script in the Theater of God”) from the Desiring God 2009 National Conference.

Mike Pohlman serves as the Executive Editor with The Gospel Coalition. A former church planter and senior pastor in the Pacific Northwest, Pohlman is a Ph.D. Candidate in American church history at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, KY.
