    Believing that the gospel has the power to draw people together near and far, as well as, in and out of conference; permit me to make one simple request, viz.: a wish that you will make a definite shift of emphasis from a gospel of MESSAGE OF SALVATION to one of firsthand and personal KNOWLEDGE OF CHRIST. The latter will require prayer and preparation. Once achieved, however, much more can be done with less resources and time. God bless you!
