Welcome ‘10 Million Words’

The Gospel Coalition is pleased to welcome 10 Million Wordsa new blog by Tim Challies.

Over the next year Challies will read and review all of The New York Times bestsellers (nearly 200!). The aim of this project is to learn about American culture through the pages of the country’s best-selling books. We at TGC trust this project will serve pastors by providing insight into what Americans are thinking and feeling through an analysis of the popular literature of the day.

True to form, Tim will offer helpful book reviews as a Christian public figure. And much like Alexis de Tocqueville did in the nineteenth century, during this one-year tour Challies will share what he’s learning about America from his perch in Canada.

We are excited to have Tim Challies as part of The Gospel Coalition Blog Network and look forward to learning with you!

Ben Peays is a Ph.D. Candidate at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School and the Executive Director of The Gospel Coalition.
