For JE it meant 13 hours a day in his study. For others in their callings/vocations... ?

For me: playing drums, studying music theory, designing things, making records, playing gigs, etc. Creating jazz music that is both unique and beautiful.

How do Edwards' resolutions work out for the non-minister types? SDG. I would be curious to hear what others do with these in light f their place in the world.

Jonathan Edwards is always bitter sweat to me. It is an amazing encouragement to read of a man that was so concerned about Godliness in every aspect of his life, but also convicting to be a typical man in this day without time to pursue God as I should. Thank you Mike.

Yes, I'm not very familiar with Jonathon Edward. Over the past few weeks, though, I've enjoyed reading more about him through his resolutions. I first heard about them at The Blazing Center, and it's helped me get a better feel for Edward and think more carefully about the new year.

Thank you for bringing it up.
