[...] Dangerous Prayer: “I don’t think you could say more dangerous words than those found in the Lord’s Prayer. I don’t think you could pray a more radical prayer. Probably most of us, even in ministry, would hesitate to say these words if we really understood what we were saying.” [...]

what happens when you've prayed that prayer over and over but your kingdom seems to still reign in your heart? you pray the prayer, you ask for grace, you strive for God's kingdom to reign but yours can't seem to be overcome? Some days there's more God's kingdom than others, some days its a dog fight, some days your own kingdom reigns like there was never an overthrow in the first place. is the kingdom even residing there and what else can they do about it - do they count themselves as reprobate?

//Only God's powerful transforming grace can produce this kind of heart.-//

Amen!!! I guess the question we must all ask ourselves is this-
Is the cross enough?

There are times in our walk, when Christ is truly everything we want and need.....and other times when things are not going the way we think would bring God the most glory(which is normally conditioned by US not suffering)God graciously allows us to see what is truly in our hearts and what still needs to be changed and as was stated earlier-

//Only God's powerful transforming grace can produce this kind of heart.-//

May we all cry out to God to produce that kind of heart....a heart that can truly say Christ is enough!!

Many things have been prayed in ignorance. Not one was without Gods sovereignty. But one I would not have prayed if I had known and understood fully the path it would take me on. The prayer was "God, make me useful to you." I am grateful God loves is so fully even in our ignorance.

Thanks Brother Tripp for those encouraging words. I would add that those words from the Lord's Prayer are not only dangerous for pastors but also to any brother or sister in Christ.
