I have not read the whole story now in some time, so i want to be careful with my response. But i wonder if the "relapse" as you call it, is not a great reply to those who (as we now know) mis-quote St. Francis of Assisi. Deeds are essential to prove the truth of what Christ has already done in your heart, but to share the gospel and love of Christ, in the end (as Matty C often says) 'you're gonna have to say something.'

Interesting to hear some of the follow-ups to some of these sensationalized stories. I sort of figured the athie would "relapse", as Christian charity and compassion are good things, but ultimately it's the Holy Spirit that changes the heart.

Appreciate these updates very much. Sad to say, so often we hear these stories with great interest, only to forget about them weeks later when there is no further news. I guess follow-ups are not as big news in major news services anymore? Anyways - many thanks.
