Slavery is a word that foolishly is used to incite more bad behavior. Abduction is the act we are talking about. What happens after the abduction can easily be defined as more horrific in all sorts of prose. So except for feelings, what are the "solutions" ! We already know the issue.

Part of the problem is us. North American capitalisim is no longer your grandpa's good ol', patriotic, red-white-and-blue capitalism. We now live in the age of global predatory capitalism, where large faceless corporate entities readily sell off North American production jobs to third-world slave facilities where there are no human rights or ethical protection/treatment of workers. All the while, lining their own pockets with the ma$$ive savings in wage disparities and calling it quarterly "profits".

We have stopped bringing slaves to our shores, only to turn around and take our factories to their shores. Slavery is still slavery, call it whatever you will.

Even so, come Lord Jesus!
