TGC13 Media Now Available

Last month around 5,000 of us from 49 states and 41 countries gathered in Orlando to worship our risen and reigning King. At our Missions Pre-Conference (7 plenaries, 15 workshops) we pondered our glorious task of heralding the good news around the globe. At our National Conference (9 plenaries, 41 workshops, 3 auxiliary events) we beheld the Lord of glory in the Gospel of Luke. At our Faith at Work Post-Conference (3 plenaries, 3 panels) we explored the complex intersection between vocation and the gospel.

By God's grace, all of our TGC13 conference media—78 talks—are now available, with translations of all plenary sessions and selected workshops in MandarinFarsi, French, Portuguese, and Spanish. All of this content is free to be used and shared around the world. As our founding documents state, TGC's desire is "to serve the church we love . . . in an effort to renew the contemporary church in the ancient gospel of Christ." To that end, we hope you will be instructed, edified, and spurred on by this content from our fourth biennial National Conference. May Jesus alone be exalted.

What are the chances of getting this all up on podcast? Hoping that happens.

    • Amy

Yes, please, please put this on podcast!

    • Shawn Bateman

      A hearty amen to that!

    • Mark Russell

Take a look at my comment below. I downloaded all the talks (3.7 GB) and added them to a .torrent file for your download.

Thanks so much for posting these! I am sure they will bless many. I had one problem: I tried to access Paul' Tripp's talk on Dangerous Calling and I got an error message. Any help would be much appreciated! God bless!

      Hi Mike,

Tripp's talk should now be working. Let us know if you have any more problems.

      Blessings in Christ,
      Matt

        Matt --

Thanks to TGC for posting these. I have been able to download audio for some of the talks, but for most of them when I click "download audio" it just takes me to another page and starts streaming the talk... Has anyone else been having this issue?

          Hi Lance,

Regarding the latter scenario, try right-clicking and selecting "download audio file" instead of just clicking on the link itself. Does that make sense? Let me know if you still have trouble.

          Blessings in Christ,
          Matt

          • Lance

Ahh. That works. I clicked "save link as" and it downloaded. Much appreciated!

I am having trouble downloading just the audio. I did as you suggested for Lance, and it worked for two of the Gospel of Luke speakers. The rest it just goes straight to the feed to play. Would like to get them on my ipod.

Was there a workshop that covered something along these lines? : Why Latin America needs to be re-evangelized? Is that message under another title?

The link to the pre-conference workshop talk "The World Mission of Christ in the Cross Defines and Empowers the Local Work of the Church" by Josaih Bancroft doesn't work. It just goes to a TGC page saying that the resource doesn't work.

    Thanks for your work anyways!

    Hi Everyone,

I downloaded all of the talks and put them into a .torrent file. You may download the torrent file here to start seeding/downloading the talks: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/5825/TGC2013.torrent

When are TGC13 Conference audio links going to be back up and running?

  • Kevin

When I click on the links it says that the page is down for maintenance? How long will audio be down?

  • Michael Scaman

Thanks for all your work. These are really excellent. I would recommend them to anyone.

As far as 'opening' torrents, a torrent file only points to content elsewhere on the web and the you can get a free download of (micro)Torrent.exe which will enable you to pull down all the files you want. I am trying it now and it's not that hard. Pick the free one and avoid letting it download things you don't want to install
