Some Basic Thoughts on Manhood: Women, Again
My wife has been following some of the news following the Aurora, CO theater shootings. However, rather than focus on the most brutal aspects of the event or give any attention to stories that focus on the murderer, she’s tried to focus on the encouraging stories of grace and courage that have followed. In that spirit, she sent me an article that demonstrates that manhood and chivalry are not dead. (Caution: Many of the comments that follow this story are worldly and unedifying)
There are men who lay down their lives for women in the most tragic hour. And I pray that the Lord would make us all so courageous in those times as well as willing to lay down our lives in the everyday ordinary things of life.
