What you wrote is interesting.
I think that the first sin that took place in the garden of Eden happened long before the lie that was spoken by Satan though.
Jesus said that the sum of all the commandments was to love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, with all thy soul and with all thy strength, and to love your neighbor as your self. If that is the sum of all the commandments, then to disobey the sum, is to disobey the whole, so the first sin in the garden would have been the "route" of all sin, which is to not love the Lord as Jesus tells us to. In fact, you will find that all sins fit under the 2 categories given in the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, and the tree of life.
Keeping the sum of the commandments is what Adam and Eve would have had to do in the Garden of Eden in order to have passed the test. Instead, like us today, Adam and Eve tried to obtain knowledge and life outside of Jehovah God, which will always lead to "fruit" sin - which was represented by the actual taking of the fruit.
Like many in the church today, Adam and Eve still did not understand "route" sin even after they had been driven from the garden, and they continued to believe that life could be obtained apart from God, so the Lord was forced to place the cherubim with flaming swords to block their way, which was merciful, because true life does not exist without our Creator.
