It just seems excessively mechanistic. At the same time, I think that there's tons of value in the 'sharing', 'participation', etc being the starting point for discussions when the doctrine of the incarnation meets the doctrine of salvation (ie in deification, theosis, etc). We receive so much more than righteousness. Christ has identified with us, represented us, substituted himself for us. He becomes all that we are and we receive all that he has to offer."
