It's interesting to think that at the same time that we get to see more and more and more of these celebrities in the news and semi-news entertainment shows, we also get a glimpse at the dark side of glamour. Papparazi (sp?), drugs, constant visibility ... isn't it amazing how they (and we, too) seek after visibility but want it just on their own terms?

Just read Jude earlier today. That epistle says in verse 4: "For certain people have crept in unnoticed who long ago were designated for this condemnation, ungodly people, who pervert the grace of our God into sensuality and deny our only Master and Lord, Jesus Christ." That isn't even speaking of the world, "among whom we all once lived in the passions of our flesh, carrying out the desires of the body and the mind" (Eph 2:3a), but of those in our midst, tares calling themselves Children of God. Soli Deo Gloria! Arifornia of the 6th grade, I pray that you will, indeed, never forget what is important, and not mortgage what is to be revealed for present, fleeting stuff that will someday be ashes. I pray the same for myself, and thank you, Trevin for this loving reminder.

I myself felt so sorry for his family. He was known for his sweetness and down to earth nature but also for living life to an excess which is what killed him. The culture of Hollywood is killing these young people. I feel so sorry for his daughter and parents. No matter how he lived his life, death still devastates those still living. Maybe someone will learn from his mistakes. We have to put God first. Everything else is all relative.

I will never forget whats important in life and I know that money is not the meaning of life. Worshiping God and doing what God wants you to in life is what the meaning of life is and bringing people to CHRIST is also part of life to.

Im in 6th grade
