I am a male, bi-vocational CB Pastor (mid-50's)located just north of the Boston area. I have a small but healthy congregation and would like to meet other pastors in the area for fellowship and accountability.

Please feel free to contact me via the church answering machine and I will get back to you.

Very good plan here. I have had many great meetings with my mentors and local pastors too. I am a young pastor who is on the verge of starting up our own church soon. I think one of the biggest MUST is that when pastors do meet...to let go of the denominational differences and just pray for each other. Too many times have I seen pastors neglect younger pastors because of denominational differences. I think in order for us to be like Jesus, we need to reach across and welcome those in need of wisdom.

Another good one, Trevin.

If I could humbly suggest one more item for this line of thought: Everyone involved needs to let down his guard and listen attentively to his counterpart. So often we get trapped in the mindset of "the expert" that we want to rush to a conclusion, often missing the real heart of what is being said. I'm guilty of this sin, and I have a feeling I am not alone.

Some of my best moments in ministry have been relaxed breakfasts with another pastor where we had no agenda and no immediate appointments. These are rare but precious respites I treasure even as I write about them.

Blessings to you, my brother!
