Some people think ear tickling is when you are preaching love with no condemnation. We preach the Grace of our Lord Jesus Christ with no apology and no condemnation.

Excellent post. I've been reading your blog for a few months, and this one feels like you read my mind. I posted something very similar to this at my blog. The church I pastor now would absolutely LOVE it if I preached against homosexuality, alcohol, and I don't know, dancing every week. You are right on the money. We can't give them a steady diet of that even though they itch for it. Thanks.

And let us not forget the ear-tickling blogs that point fingers at all the wrong things being said and done in the name Jesus. :)

Ah, the story of the Pharisee and the tax collector. How many times do we read, teach, or study that story and follow with a prayer of, "Thank you Lord for not making me like the Pharisee." :)

I think you should make up a matching question where we have to match the preacher to "tickling" message, or have you had enough matching for awhile?
