Having been travelling abroad for a long time, I always encounter problems of integrating into a new culture (integration is different from assimilation, it’s more difficult). Sometimes, I think I have learnt the local language, and understand the local culture well, but actually not, there are lots of hidden rules beyond my visibility. It is surprising to know that there are words in Romanian language that strongly resemble English words, but with a different connotation. It must constitute a major language barrier for you, or at least caused some problem in your process of learning Romanian. In language learning, sometime we think the similarity between our mother tongue and the target language will help us to master the new language easier, but actually, it’s not the case. The similarities may even cause unnecessary confusions for the learners. The seemingly similarity between English and Romanian words also cause problems when we have to <a href="http://www.rosettatranslation.com/language/romanian_translation/" rel="nofollow">translate a Romanian</a> document.
