Thank you, John. I appreciated your contribution to this book because it (more than the others) did seek to establish a basis in Scripture.

Dear Dr./Revd/Mr. Wax,

Thanks much for your kind words for my contribution to the recent IVP volume The Lord's Supper: Five Views.

But, even though I am mainly a historian and partly a systematician by trade, I DID argue biblically!

Oder!

Best wishes, in Christ our Life, on this Last Sunday of the Church Year,

John Stephenson

Our only safe guard is to stay with the Scriptures. Is this not our motto as Protestants, as Martin Luther stated . . .by Scripture and Scripture alone was he to be held. And it is by this which we are to be judged, not by traditions or imaginations of man. Jesus warns us,"My people die for a lack of knowledge". Jesus is soon to return, let's get back to His word, not ANY mans.
