Tullian: Read the chapter titled "Anger" in Paul David Tripp's new book "A Quest for More." It's very much in line with what you have written here. He concludes that God's anger is our hope, for apart from His (grieving) anger against the sin that corrupts the world He loves we would have no hope for redemption or restoration. He does a great job of showing us how God's anger and man's anger fit into the larger redemptive drama...particularly the way in which those opposing angers collide at the cross of Christ.
