Life Today
In May, Kim and I traveled to Dallas in order to be interviewed by James Robison for his TV show, Life Today. The interview was taped then and is airing today all over the country. Kim and I had the privilege of sharing our stories and speaking about my latest book and the need for Christians to become unfashionable.
You can check air times and channels here. Please pray that many will be reached by our testimony to God’s amazing grace in our lives and heed the call to live unfashionably.
Update: If you missed the interview on TV, you can watch it online here.

I just watched your interview online at your link. You and Kim reflect the light of the Lord. I benefited from your sermon series on The Unfashionable Church and look forward to reading the book.
Wow! my parents and I just watched the show.Truly enjoyed it.I,too, grew up in a christian home.Infact ,CRPC and Westminster Ac..were my beginnings in life.My testimony is probably similiar, but I just wouldn’t listen to His call……until I really couldn’t believe the shape my “so called” life was in.I look forward to reading your book, and possibly visiting the church.I have family and friends in Lauderdale.I also worked at The Cove, for a short time when I was living in Asheville.May God truly bless you and your family!
I just watched the interview on INSP. I had not seen the book previously but now intend to buy it. I whole heartedly agree that the Church for many years has been trying hard to fit into the “world”. Jesus called us to make a difference in the world, be light and salt, not be a dull reflection of the world. Only the light and truth of Jesus Christ will make the difference for which the world is truly looking. The GOd shaped whole in man’s heart can only be filled with Jesus.
Tullian,
This past Sunday, you talked about worshiping God as He reveals Himself and as He commands us to in Scripture (regulative principle). Have you ever used a Psalter? I’ve used one off and on over the years and I always love coming back to singing God’s Word. What a rich tradition we have in this regard, as well. This was the Church’s hymnal for 200 years, at least. What a way to have a Biblical view of the God of worship and the worship of God. It definitely presents a very unfashionable view of God, in addition to a very unfashionable way to worship the Lamb slain from before the foundation of the world.
I saw a short excerpt of the show. I’ll watch it later. I look forward to getting to know your family.
lt’s a little late but i had to see it. excellent!! very captivating.
Pastor Tullian
listened to your message from 8/23 and I can only think to say:
Holy Holy Holy Lord God Almighty, heaven and earth are filled with your glory hosana in the highest.
thank you and God bless you!

Great interview Kim and Tullian! I am looking forward to meeting and working with you both. Leo is enjoying his time with you already! Tullian, I agree with Kim, that your family has always been special!
I love the part when Robison said when we lift up Christ He will draw men to Himself. It is not a “community of believers” that change lives, but the word of God and the living God through His Spirit.
My husband and I along with our 4 children (2 teens!) watched your interview last night with the Robisons. We deeply appreciate your clear message that when we do set ourselves apart from the world (through God’s grace) it is then that our lives will make a difference. Thank you for your encouragement and wisdom in continuing on to be “unfashionable”!
God greatly used your interview on Life Today to encourage me! Our son was raised in a Christian home, but has chosen the world. He is now seriously dating a girl who is not a Christian. I have been praying earnestly regarding this and it seemed that God was saying to me…”Love her into the Kingdom.” ‘The story of how your wife was impacted by your family and how that positively affected you was just the faith boost I needed. Thank you for sharing your story. May God continue to bless your lives and your ministry…for His Glory.
Great interview; wonderful testimony to God’s grace. You and Kim did a terrific job of articulating and sharing from a transparent place. I love you both in our Lord, and pray that God will richly bless you as you continue to to minister to a broken and hurting world.
From Chili’s to Robison…’Surely God is in this place!’
Robin
Once again, Tullian and Kim, you have demonstrated the astounding impact that surrendering to God has on the lives of His children. From waiting on tables to “waiting on” the Lord! From cleaning up after people to helping people learn how the Lord cleans them up – what a story!
I continue to thank God every day that He has brought you and your family to CRPC – we love you guys!

Pastor Tullian
thank you for the interview, you are at the cutting edge of the christian evangelicalism.
I loved reading “Unfashionable”. I needed it and I know many people will benefit from the thoughts and ideas you have been blessed with.
Kim is a joy, you are very blessed and I’m praying for you and yours Pastor; you are nothing less than the best.
I’ve always loved Billy Grahm, and have had the priviledge of praying for him the past 30 yrs. Now I have the priviledge of praying for his grandson.
God bless you Tullian and Kim and all at CRPC;
Paul
Pastor Tullian,
I caught your interview w/the Robinsons while on vacation @ Myrtle Beach this past Monday and just re-watched it w/ my wife on their website. Came here and read your bio and pathway to Coral Ridge. Wow what a story , what a heritage and what a message in your book. I have felt the same way for several yrs. being only a layperson w/ no formal training though you feel that no one will recieve what you have brewing in your spirit, so thank you for confirming what the Spirit has been saying. I haven’t purchased your book yet but a looking forward to it w/ much excitement. God Bless and perhaps next time w visit Fla. we may stop by the church. I used to listen to Dr. Kennedy whenever I happened upon him, he was a great witness and servant of our Lord.
OK, I’m really late responding to this post but I just watched it with my wife in a spare moment (as if that ever happens with two small kids, until after 9:00 pm). Do you know what impressed me most about what you shared? What really impressed me was how much you looked at your wife, Kim, as she was speaking, how you honored her when she spoke by giving her your full attention.
PS I like your book, too : )

according to John F. MacArthur Jr in “Faith Works”
Faith has objective substance. there is an intellectual content to our faith. believing is not
a mindless leap in the dark or some ethereal kind of trust apart from knowledge. there is
factual, historical, intellectual basis for our faith. Faith not grounded in this objective truth is not
faith at all.
