A Conversation with Sinclair Ferguson
Justin Taylor Blog | June 25, 2012
Here is a 40-minute conversation with him. In the first 17 minutes he tells his own story (conversion and calling to the ministry), and then in the second half he answers various questions and gives unusually wise, countercultural counsel.

justin,
have you ever thought about why the phrase "in the world" gradually gave way to "on the planet," somewhere in the last 50 years? i wonder if it signifies anything at all in the way of philosophical outlook?
kind regards,
damien

Nicely done. I have hear of Sinclair's work, but it is always nice to get to know someone and know of their roots. Thanks for sharing, Mr. Ferguson.

I find this very moving, and deeply instructive. Especially the last 10 or 15 minutes.

I really enjoy listening to Sinclair. My first encounter with him was at the Basics Conference at Parkside Church with Alistair Begg. In previous years Alistair has had the "Ericy-Dereky-Dick" trio (Eric Alexander, Derek Prime & Dick Lucas) and I think that our brothers from the other side of the pond bring a healthy and refreshing perspective to American Christianity - even the kind of Young Reformed Christianity that we are presently experiencing.
Thanks for the interview...
