The Gospel Coalition

If you are looking for a good outreach Bible for Easter (or any time of year), The Story ESV Bible (paperback) would be a great choice. Crossway and SpreadTruth Ministries partnered together.

If you order 5 or more copies from SpreadTruth, you can get them for $5 each. Amazon has individual copies for $6.18.

Contributors include David Platt, Darrin Patrick, Russell Moore, Burk Parsons, Danny Akin, Joe Thorn, Jared Wilson, and a number of others. (See the complete list here.)

All 66 books of the Bible contain a short introduction that combines evangelism and biblical theology by showing how each book fits into the Big Story and its major themes (Creation, Fall, Rescue, and Restoration). See a Genesis Preview.

There is also a 12-page, full-color insert containing "The Story" overview (see the video below for how they communicate these wonderful truths).

So again, it's a great tool for evangelism and outreach for reaching people with the gospel through the Word.

What a great way to encourage us to know, live, and share the gospel. Iím excited to be equipped and to equip others with the story of the gospel from beginning to end. And thumbs up for those who created the video - it was incredible!!

It is time we had more evangelism orientated Bibles. I have a small new testament Bible (Christian Workers New Testament - New American Standard) from 1980, that is designed for winning souls, having huge numbers of salvation and other important verses in the front, and all verses underlined with red within.
I have been trying to find a current large full scale Bible like it in Christian bookstores, but have failed so far. It seems the are many fancy covers, styles and versions, but we have largely failed to make Bibles designed for the work we are really meant to do!

Looks interesting... the website and social media approach are catchy. Is the Bible just the ESV plus their booklet, or is there more content than that?
