Ray Ortlund July 23, 2012 at 10:49 AM Hi Eric. It's a mixture of insight and gobbledeegook. I respect the insight and dismiss the gobbledeegook. And I like the music. Typical Dylan. Love you! Eric July 22, 2012 at 08:57 PM Dad, can I ask, just out of curiosity, what is it about this song (and the lyrics you quoted) that jives with you? What do you see in it? I always really liked this song, but thought of it as one of Dylan's incomprehensible ones - stirring, but I can't tell what he's talking about! Any thoughts?
