What only God can do

Whenever Jesus is being exalted according to the gospel, the Lord's blessing is always present to some degree.
But when the Lord takes the work in hand himself, we experience more than his blessing on what we can do. We experience what only he can do.
Only God can surprise us with breakthrough power we never thought to ask for (Isaiah 64:1-3).
Only God can make not only the pastor but all the people together prophetic for witness (Acts 2:1-12).
Only God can turn our weaknesses and inadequacies from embarrassments into boasts with even greater impact (2 Corinthians 12:1-10).
