The God of endurance and encouragement. You know how much we need both in October 2020. Thank you for caring, and for giving us every good thing we need in Jesus—not just for surviving but thriving and encouraging each other daily.
The God of hope. In our increasingly complex, distressing world, it’s heart-settling to know that evil, brokenness, and crazy have expiration dates. Fill our hearts with the certainty of your sovereignty, the solace of Jesus’ current reign, and the certainty of his return.
The God of peace. Father may your peace rule in our hearts—trumping our fears, defusing our anger, and fueling our joy. So very Amen we pray, in Jesus’ trustworthy and worship-worthy name.
