Phillip Bethancourt is executive vice president of the Southern Baptist Convention’s Ethics and Religious Liberty Commission and assistant professor of Christian theology at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary.
Don Carson (BS, McGill University; MDiv, Central Baptist Seminary, Toronto; PhD, University of Cambridge) is emeritus professor of New Testament at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School in Deerfield, Illinois, and cofounder and theologian-at-large of The Gospel Coalition. He has edited and authored numerous books. He and his wife, Joy, have two children.
H. B. Charles Jr. (Master’s Seminary and Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary) is pastor of Shiloh Metropolitan Baptist Church in Jacksonville, Florida, and a Council member of The Gospel Coalition. He is the author (or contributing author) of several books, including It Happens After Prayer. He and his wife, Crystal, have three children.
Crawford Loritts (DDiv, Biola University; STD, Cairn University; DDiv, Moody Bible Institute; LTD, Trinity Evangelical Divinity School; DDiv, Columbia International University) is former senior pastor of Fellowship Bible Church in Roswell, Georgia, visiting professor at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School, and a Council member of The Gospel Coalition. He has written a number of books, including Unshaken. He and his wife, Karen, have four children.
Afshin Ziafat (MDiv, Southwestern Seminary) is the lead pastor of Providence Church in Frisco, Texas. Afshin serves as a Board member for The Gospel Coalition. He is a contributing author for several books, including The Gospel Project for Adults, and has written for numerous outlets, including Desiring God and TGC. He and his wife, Meredith, have three children.
