FEEDBACK

Can I track my learning progress?

In order to keep the platform clean, shareable, and highly accessible, we don’t offer this feature; however, there are great apps and browser extensions (like this one) that will do this for you no matter where you’re learning across the internet.

Do you offer any certificates or course credit?

No. Tracking, certification, and credit don’t fit our current model of free and open content distribution. But we’re always looking for ways to make that possible. One of our content partners, Third Millennium Ministries, provides the ability to pursue course credit and a degree using the content on TGC Courses. You’ll need to go to their site and log your learning progress there.

Where do I start?

TGC Courses is designed to provide an open experience to learning about God and his Word. This means that you should start learning in the area that you or your church have identified as an area of need. If you’re a new believer or digging into Scripture for the first time in a long time, we recommend the courses in the “Christian Foundations” section as a great starting point on your learning journey.

I love listening to audio and watching YouTube lectures at faster playback speeds. Can I do the same with Vimeo?

Vimeo does not natively support increased playback speed; however, you can use this Chrome extension to achieve the same result.

Why don’t you have a course on _____ topic?

We’re still getting started. TGC Courses launched in November 2017. We’re adding roughly one new course every month. Be sure to follow our social media feeds to see more. If you have course ideas or content that you think we should include, please feel free to pass them along in the form below.

Can I reproduce/modify/translate course content from TGC Courses?

While many of the courses rely on public content on the web, some have been generously provided by publishers that retain the copyright. In instances where copyrights are noted, please contact the publishers for permission to reproduce/modify/translate the content for your context. In cases where no copyrights are noted, please feel free to fill out the form below, and we’ll help you with next steps. Note: We are grateful to host Crossway’s Knowing the Bible series on TGC Courses. If you want print copies of those Bible study guides, click here. Permissions requests for Crossway are available here.

How can I provide a specific course offline?

Some courses make this process easier than others. Please reach out using the form below, and we’ll help you determine feasibility or help you get access to the files you need.

How is The Gospel Coalition able to provide these courses free and without advertising?

TGC Courses is funded by donations. We’re thankful for the kindness of those who give with a vision for free online learning about God and the Christian life. Learn more about how to donate to TGC here.
