Two Free Christmas Songs from Red Mountain Music

RM-SNI’m grateful to the folks at Red Mountain Music for permission to post a couple of songs from their album, Silent Night.

Red Mountain specializes in taking old hymns and using contemporary tunes. But with this album they retained the original tunes, but with modern arrangements.

Here are the two songs for you to enjoy, with Ashley Spurling on vocals:

    Since your pointing out free Christmas music here is a whole album our Youth Ministry did. We are not professional in any way but the CD is amazing, IMO http://www.atmospherechurch.com/christmas/

    Loved those samples. I just posted John Michael Talbot’s version of: “Let All Mortal Flesh Keep Silence” on my blog, but he leaves off the last verse.
    This was an excellent rendition.

    The other hymn, I sang at church this past Sunday, and it was the first time I had heard it. This too was wonderfully done.

    As a classical music lover who usually doesn’t care for anything less than 100 years old (I’m not snooty, just honest), I’ve honestly been blown away at how excellent Red Moutain’s music is. I have all of their albums, and they are really worth checking out.
