Alive Together: Free TGC25 Playlist

The Gospel Coalition’s 2025 national conference is a special one for many reasons. The conference marks TGC’s 20th anniversary and will feature reflection on TGC’s two decades of ministry as well as a vision for the future (it’ll be the first conference presided over by new president Mark Vroegop). Keynote speakers will exposit Ephesians, unpacking the wonder of what the gospel is and does. To further enrich this milestone, the main stage worship sessions will be led by preeminent modern hymn writers Keith and Kristyn Getty, who led the singing at some of TGC’s earliest conferences.

If you haven’t made plans to join us at TGC25 yet, register soon! You won’t want to miss it.

To whet your appetite for the conference, you can start listening today to the official TGC25 playlist. Listen on Spotify and Apple Music

In creating a playlist that celebrates the TGC25 theme—Alive Together—as well as 20 years of TGC’s ministry, I wanted the songs to focus on the gospel itself. In addition to plenty of Getty hymns and other gospel-rich songs, both old and new, the playlist features the winning and runner-up songs from our recent “What Is the Gospel?” song contest. This means about a third of the songs on the playlist are brand new, created because of TGC’s gospel-song contest prompt and released in the last few weeks.

I hope you enjoy this seven-hour experience of gospel-centered music. May it bless you and build your faith, shaping your heart to the contours of the glorious gospel:

But God, being rich in mercy, because of the great love with which he loved us, even when we were dead in our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ—by grace you have been saved—and raised us up with him and seated us with him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, so that in the coming ages he might show the immeasurable riches of his grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus. For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast. (Eph. 2:4–9)
